I'm asian and this is SOO ACCURATE. maybe every 5 years we would go on a vacation and it wasnt until i was 18 that we finally started flying LOL.

I have relatives from New York and I was from Florida so this trip is exactly like one I've experienced. It took two or three days to drive up there.
The hot water was a nice touch on your sketch. I remember my relatives always insisting that I should be drinking hot water even when I insisted on cool water lol
(I guess for survival purposes it makes sense but cool water is so much more refreshing imo)

In china, driving long distance is much more expensive than flight tickets now.

maybe my family were white asians… half if not most the things ive seen the dan , mike and their friends  complain about in their own families ive experienced LMAO. except it wasnt tea eggs in the car it was dry ramen, premade (and very warm) balona sandwiches, cheewee sandwiches and oranges lmao ,  we rarely went on vacation , because my family believed it a waste of time ,money, and resources. On the rare chance we did go somewhere, it was usually with a car filled with people to the point of being a clown car.  White people do it too, especially when they come from humble back grounds…. though some of my best memories were going to a buffet.. clown car stuffed with people, usually an old beat up car, with 7 people in a car meant to fit like 4 or 5 , so loaded down we had to drive kinda slow over bumps because its scraped curbs when we went into the parking lot. ,

While my parents can be just as cheap (on some levels), they're not as frugal as the parents in the video.

My vacations (I'm Korean btw) included 10-12 people packed in one hotel room and moving around in packs and everyone talking at the same time over each other and others staring.

As a European I find this highly unrealistic, the Asian group is supposed to consist of at least 10 people (extended family, maybe also some friends) or more, all moving together as a solid coordinated group, asking the Europeans to take pictures of them in front of whatever fancy monument/building they have spotted.  Not only that, but preferably some Europeans should also be in the picture, for decoration I suppose? I believe it serves a nefarious purpose,, because after the photo is taken the Europeans in it are stuck in the Asian group/family and are unable to escape. That is, until the group is enthralled and distracted by yet some other fancy old monument/building, then the Europeans stuck in the group must attempt to escape or risk being trapped forever.

Best example from my personal life was probably running into 4 busses of Asian school kids when I was visiting the Alhambra in Spain, supposedly some school visit. Sadly I think cameras with flash is forbidden in the area due to the age of the palace, luckily everyone had a phones. :)
