Happy Birthday!! I remember when I was that young! :) That was a great day
hike! Did that ice chunk look like a leg to you? it was coming out of the
culvert. It did to me for some reason….I really like the crux stove!
combined with a titanium mug like you had its lighter than the jet boil.I
think.(my wife’s favorite stove) I will look forward to the review on the
Rain jacket! The east coast has some great views and I appreciate you
sharing them!! I have only been there once. I have a vid that shows me
standing in Idaho looking into Washington, Canada, and Montana. It was
cool! I can give ya link if ya care to see. Thanks for sharing!

Luke, your choice of coffee options, S…….,. I really love coffee,
that’s not coffee, young 33 fella. Find some other options, for real coffee
    and enjoy life.

Hmmm… did I notice the absence of a fixed blade knife ready-to-hand? That
could prove to be a very bad choice, given the proper circumstances.

    Absolute loved the hike..

Nice hike Luke, up here, still cold as a witch’s….broom. Ton of snow. But
I’m enjoying it. I think I’m the only one.

Where did you purchase your pack?

Also, sorry to hear about your dental visit, ouch! Coincidentally, I work
at the Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, and just today a cohort was telling
us that he just went to the dentist. As the Dr. was about to inject him in
the jaw with a needle, my friend said he punched the Dr. in the face. Lol.
Needless to say, the Dr. will no longer see him unless and until he has
    already been anaesthetised. Take care.

    As always great video Luke!
What a place to make memories (&share them) with your kids & wife.

On a side note, I feel you with the back pain. I have a bad lower back from
an auto accident some years ago. It sucks! We can’t let that stop is from
    living though.

    Thanks for sharing!

The video quality of the ghost actually looks better, but the audio on your
main camera is better. I love your vids either way. I had the same type of
experience at my dentist, those cleanings are brutal :)

I had the 9 top teeth I had left yanked last February to be fitted for a
denture. I went to the dentist to get ONE tooth fixed. While I was under
the novocaine they talked me into getting the 9 pulled. After I left, I
drove 45 mins to pick up my daughter and at that point the drugs had worn
off. Boy I tell ya, I’ve NEVER felt that much pain in my life!. Its all
good now I have a fantastic smile and NO tooth pain of course, but man it
was rough going for a while!

AHHHH yes another birthday, this is about the time they start clicking by
really fast, enjoy them now before they become a blurr. Another really
enjoyable video! I have a Geigerrig hydration bladder, what kind of bite
valve is that on yours? Can you fill it without removing the bladder from
your pack? Thank You for your great videos, I learn alot from you.

As usual, thanks for the hike along. What a super present to yourself, a
lovely day hike….happy birthday! Plus, you’ve given me another great idea
for a future hike. Moses H. Cone Memorial Park was the summer home of the
Cone Family whom owned and operated many spinning, denim, hosiery mills for
many years. Sadly, their only plant now is the White Oak plant in
Greensboro. The land and mansion were donated years ago, and now is run by
the National Park Service. I haven’t been there since a boy, but it’s
    beautiful. Take care.
