This is my SimpliSafe Home Security System. This Simplisafe Review contains a review on the actual system, as well as the iPhone Application. Shortly after doing my Simplisafe review they added the Pin # to the iPhone app to help make it secure — YAY!

I installed everything myself (basically its just peeling and sticking sensors). There are no wires that need to be ran for this system as it is completely wireless.

All Sensors run on CR123 Lithium batteries which typically will last 5 years in this scenario.

i wonder if someone were to remove one of your systems (pocket it when you're not looking) would you be notified and how. on their website there is nothing about this. I would like this for a small office.

I thought it didn't need a phone cable for the base system. What happens if you don't have landline service?

But a thief is going to smash and break the window… he isnt likely to LIFT UP or OPEN a window if its locked. and he will see an alarm there anyway so he wont access the home via this particular window,.

Thank you! Excellent video. I would like video monitoring. Do they have that yet? I would think so it being 3 years later. Thumbs way up on the video.

Please give us an update if you still like/have this system. Thank you.

I noticed a motion sensor in the basement as well, do you need two motion sensors in a house with an upstairs and a downstairs, considering the keypad is by the door upstairs?

Does it detect if someone breaks the window, and goes through the broken window, not opening the window?

1st Great video… Its nice to see a walk through from a regular citizen that has this, vs one of their commercials…

I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger on a Simplisafe Alarm System, If you get the basic package of $15.99 month package, are you still able to log into the web page and label all the sensors and such to manage it???

It looks like Text messages about sensors and alerts, as well as remote arm/disarm from Smart phone are the only features you do not get with the basic package correct????

this system fails miserably for 1 reasons 1.there's no Medical or Fire panic on the keypad. something so basic like a security button and they still haven't added that?

You can only use the phone app only if you buy the monitoring system, otherwise you can't use the app. That's one of the downfalls of this system if you decide to use it as a local alarm.
