I as a ww1 buff, think ww2 buffs can't just admit that ww1 was the godfather of all wars and they think ww2 was the most significant war in history.

Officers did wear webbing with basic pouches and often carried rifles in the field late in the war in NW Europe and the Far East, even if just borrowed for patrol work, to avoid extra attention from the Germans and Japanese.

@donoghue666 Ive only got the Springfield because it was the closest I was going to get to a rifle before I actually get a deact rifle some time soon, everyone says you should get a entrenching tool but my re-enactment CO suggests I get a GS shovel that gets tucked into your belt or behind your small pack and its allot easier to dig than a small entrenching tool, but cheers for the advice like the channel aswell

spring field is a random choice for british kit?
i liked your mess tin food items.
you probly know that the entrenching tool would be a good thing to get…but shame they are like 40 quid odd now. plus if you do your collar uo on the pat 49 it looks quite close to the 40 pattern.
pretty good gear over all though

Base on the claims that the British have the right to shoot the Taliban theirs a longer list that equally apply to why one can claim the same legal right to shoot the British.

After 400 years they are still waging war on others they dont stop do they

  21. ZorroIsGod1January 11, 2018 at 4:55 am

    Understanding the concept of war
War is about granting one self the ability to shoot others without prosecution
We all know 9/11 was a false flag operationand theirs tones of data to prove it
The first thing they took control in Canada was the land deeds Next was the reserves system banning free movement? Then a re-education system where only 50% of the kids dead by their handsanyone who defied their orders where shot.

bring the troops home. afghanistan is unwinnable, at least in the way we are fighting it now. success, if possible at all, would take huge numbers of british casualties far beyond what we have seen so far. our involvement is largely token at the moment.

  23. Andrew Jones ProductionsJanuary 11, 2018 at 5:53 am

Please note that the majority of the British public are opposed to the deployment of troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. The troops are not cowards are at fault. Yes, there have been incidents of gross misconduct, but the courts (& media!) have dealt with these. Will the "hanging of these cowards" also include the Norwegian troops involved until 2004? Direct your anger at governments not troops.
