In terms of homemade toilet paper and backup home heating, I already have that situation covered. It's called mass media newspapers/ magazines, police parking tickets, credit card offers, and tax forms.

Plus, you'd have to curb yourself. In terms of homemade toilet paper, I already have that situation covered. It's called mass media newspapers, police parking tickets, credit card offers, and tax forms.

JUST A SUGGESTION: Home-made splint #1; use a gallon size Ziploc, storage bag, or anything that is air tight, and fits. Fill it halfway, or 1/3 or 1/4 (FILL TO FIT YOUR NEEDS). With WATER or AIR, Wrap that around a wrist and tape. In a pinch, juice beer, sea water, or other fluids can be use.

Hi DemCad, hey…FYI…You can keep a supply of heavy duty garbage bags handy, use two buckets, …lined with the bags, one for #2 with dirt or sand inside, & for #1 just sand…keep a hole dug out back for disposal… Good Luck, P.S. you may buy a sheet of plywood, cut out a circular pattern…to use as a toilet seat also….

I used to work offshore, they used to use a 5 gallon can put a garbage bag inside, then had a loose toilet seat they put on top of the can then did there business and took the garbage bag out and disposed of it.

You could use a hobo stove lit by a candle a pot and a empty tuna can.

You have to agree most 'urban preppers' are delusional.
They are too invested in plan 'A' (their home) by the time they realize it is doomed to fail/does fail their plan 'B' (escape/bug-out) will be almost impossible.
A house fire blocks away will reach his house eventually (hours) and during a full on SHTF landing on the streets with family is Suicide at best.
An action plan of waiting too long to leave then being forced onto the streets when things are at their worst isn't a plan.
