not really…that’s one of the biggest myths. Cats are lactose intolerant.

Best to use a lactose free product, or get one that is specially made for cats at a pet food store.

Consider cats lactose intolerant when it comes to cows milk.

But they can have a little goats milk every now and then.

Cats milk is good for cats.
I don’t think warm cats milk is good but not 100% sure.

But cows milk is bad for cats, (warm and cold).
It can give them diarrhoea and they can’t digest it as good.

Hope this helps u mate :)
    Good luck x

Its really bad but cold milk is ok,

No, milk is really not good for cats. It will usually give them diarrhea.

P.S. cows milk is bad but cat milk is wonderful!

Milk Intolerance, in spite of the customary image of a cat with its face in a dish of cream, cats must acquire a taste for dairy products. Although some cats obviously enjoy cow’s milk, many cats do not. It’s important to remember that cow’s milk differs from the milk kittens get from their nursing mother. Cat’s milk contains almost three times as much protein as cow’s milk. Orphan kittens fed only cow’s milk will not survive because they are not getting sufficient protein in their diet. If you find yourself in the position of surrogate cat-mom, make sure you feed the little ones a nutritionally adequate diet. Consult your veterinarian or feed the kittens one of the commercial products designed for this purpose. Cow’s milk can occasionally be a problem for cats that do enjoy it. Some adult cats cannot effectively digest cow’s milk (lactose intolerance), which can result in diarrhea. The diarrhea should stop after you remove milk from your cat’s diet.

    Regards,
    Mike

yes it is ok for any cat

  8. ViktoriyaFebruary 18, 2014 at 9:08 am

yes it is very good especially for kittens under 3 months old, and if you do have a kitten under 3 months old he will need milk, though cold milk is much easier for then to digest
otherwise too much milk gives a cat of any age an upset stomach.
this will not make them die or get any desease it just hurts and irritates them so after giving your cat milk dont be surprised if you find him in the corner of your room not lookin too good…..

Just like people some cats are lactose intolerant and some aren’t. If it doesn’t bother your cat a small treat of warm milk is fine. If you see it gives your cat diarrhea then don’t give the cat cow’s milk but get a lactose free milk from a pet store.
If you enjoy giving your cat milk and your cat enjoys it then by all means go ahead. Warm, cool or room temperature shouldn’t really matter. Also remember to pick up any milk that isn’t finished off so your cat doesn’t come back to spoiled milk as they may upset his/her stomach. Also just like humans cats need a balanced diet so don’t let your cat fill up on so much milk that they don’t eat their normal cat.
    Good luck with your cat.

It depends on if the cat is used to drinking milk. My cat was not and when I gave him some he threw up. So it just depends on the cats diet.
