Talk about teaching an old dog a new trick!

The Judges appear sceptical when these dancing dads appear on stage, but their hip hop and street dance routine leave them open-mouthed in amazement.

Even Simon is impressed, but will they be grooving on down to the live shows?

My nana has terminal cancer and she isn’t going to be with me for much longer but what you said was true russ. If you don’t talk to them now then all you will have is memories. This hit me in such a personal spot I nearly cried 🙂

I visit my Nan, every Monday, I go to her house from school and have dinner with her, and that’s the only decent human contact she has, apart from with her sister, whom she absolutely despises. It feels fucking amazing to be the highlight of her week every week.

My grandma died a month ago, she wasn’t lonely but I didn’t see her a lot because it made me cry I wish I was there. But I know someone who was lonely my friend didn’t have a good relationship with his grandparents they where mean but he didn’t deserve to see them but still it is really saddening

I'm in my fifties, my last grandparent died in 1994, he was the only one I ever got to meet and was a nasty, old coot. Not the least bit pleasant to be around. He made my mother's childhood a nightmare, deserved to be lonely. She, in turn, made mine and my brother's lives a nightmare, so she's on her own. Most of her nastiness should never be forgiven, but in the case of those who have reasonable enough, relatives who are over 75 (old), they really do need and appreciate your company when you come around, even if they whinge and don't always show their gratitude or piss themselves at the dining table during Xmas dinner. Incontinence is a common curse of the aged.
