Parents don't teach their children behavior when they were young then trust doctors and medical professionals that their children have ADHD. That the way the whole medical field make money off. Everyone has a different personality, and children too !! they are not like a bible and expect them to be all the same.

OH MY GOD THIS IS ME EXACTLY.  He is so articulate with ADHD, and is really an Expert in this condition.  Russell Barkley, you are the ONLY Doctor who explains ADHD PERFECTLY.  Thank you for helping me to understand myself with this disorder and helping me understand why I never had friends or kept friendships, and why I would blow up at people and get so angry and frustrated and my emotional impulsiveness and I could never understand why, until I was diagnosed and listening to Russell Barkley explain this disorder so eloquently! Thank You, Dr. Barkley,
    Jennifer

I have never been clinically evaluated by a psychological professional for ADHD, and came here out of curiosity, but the more I listen to this guy, the more I realize he is describing my ENTIRE life. I thought that I grew out of it as a child and that I was just really  bad at being an adult…
